 شهر العطاء

لقد هلَّ شهر العطاء فهل؟
نفتش فيه ثواب العمل
نقدم للفقراء الأمل
ونعطي الجياع شعاع المقل

The month of giving has appeared, whether
We find in it the merit of the work,
Give hope to the poor
And to the hungry the glow of the eyes

Der Monat des Gebens ist erschienen, ob:
Wir darin den Verdienst der Arbeit finden,
Den Armen die Hoffnung geben
 Und den Hungrigen das Leuchten der Augen
